PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY
As principle with a full involvement in the practice of Architecture together with professional Associates I offer a continuity of personal service from concept to completion of the project. Behind this basic philosophy of personal service to clients is a firm belief that by commitment to good design, attention to detail, use of effective cost controls and management systems, we are able to produce efficient, functional and aesthetically pleasing buildings to the great satisfaction of both the client and ourselves. I recognise the importance of this material satisfaction as an integral part of the association I wish to enjoy with all my clients.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Quality control of documentation is achieved through the management structure.
The success of any management structure depends upon the quality of the personnel, their permanence within the structure and the efficiency of information exchange between them.
My approach, proven by practice, is to be directly involved as principal throughout and appoint an experienced and knowledgeable job captain permanently to each project. Tight control is maintained by the highest quality procedures.
THE DOCUMENTATION SET
The documentation set is planned in detail. The objective is to design an efficient set of drawings which clearly illustrate the scope of work yet maintains a cost effective fee solution for the client concerned.
FORWARD PLANNING AND INFORMATION FLOW
The efficient production of drawings depends upon the timely provision of information to members of the team. It is the Architect's principle responsibility to programme and effect the delivery of the information from internal or external sources as appropriate.
CO-ORDINATING AND CHECKING
The quality of the finished documentation depends upon a constant cycle of co-ordinating and checking of work produced with the specialist consultants engaged. We budget time for independent documentation checks at key stages of the programme. |
